  • 3DO Alive World Cup Finals - Article about 3DO esports! It was a FIFA tournament held on the 5th November at the weightlifting stadium at Jamsil Olympic Park, it was hosted by LG Electronics, Hankook Ilbo and Ilgan Sports. About 2,000 players took part. The tournament was hosted by a Lee Sang-Woon and Heo Nam-Jin, entertainment was provided with people doing tricks with footballs. The tournament until the last 16 was run on golden goal. With the remainder matches being 2 mins each way. The winners were given an all expenses trip to the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. There were prizes given via a lottery and quiz, and all participants were given a tshirt. Also, 3DO consoles and games were sold at a 45% discount on the day. (Page 4)

  • Education System Using Networked 3DO - How Panasonic and TG Information Networks developed a networked CAI system. Its a network that connects students machines with a teachers. The software to use this is called “Learning for Independent Firefighting Activities.” This software was used for personnel training at the Disaster Prevention Education Center in Japan, and it is made so that you can learn the know-how of firefighting activities in an easy-to-understand way through videos and quizzes.   • Hand in hand with the Japanese Defense Agency and 3DO - Article about The Japanese Defense Agency has created the 3DO Soft "Self-Defense World" with the intention of informing the organization operations and activities of all self-Defense forces on land, sea, and air. Because it consists of a quiz and a game format, it was created so that you can know about the self-defense force for fun This software will be installed in SDF bases and garrisons all over Japan, along with 3DO, because it is non-for-sale and is designed for events.   • Matsushita Holo Show on the M2 Stage - Article about how Panasonic have brought the rights to the M2 technology, other companies can still licence it but all royalties will go to Panasonic rather than 3DO. It also mentions how Sega have pulled out to licence the 3DO, and it will be released in the middle of 1996. There is a picture of a M2 demonstration at the Electronics Show in Tokyo in October 1995 (Page 5)
  • M2 Expectations - Article doing a poll on what type of game they would like to see on the M2, Results were: 1. 3D Fighting Game 2. Animne Game 3. RPG 4. Racing Game 5. Movie Tie in.....There is a 3D basic fighter picture, but this states it isnt an M2 image just for illustration (Page 5)

  • Interview M2 Design Team - The design of the M2 (And all gaming related products) is run by LG's Hi-Media Design Team, there is a picture of the LG M2 Machine that the dedicated team of 3 (Byun Hee-yeon (은 변희연), Park Seung-joo (박승주씨), and Lim Jae-hyung ( 임재형씨 )) were working on. It states it takes a month to design the console with another 2 months to debug it to create a complete model. Mr Lim was in charge of the design of the M2 himself (Which is is quoted he wanted a masculine and instrumental atmosphere with the shape of the universves. The picture isnt the final LG M2 model but was the last one they showed publically. (Page 6)

  • Alive 2 Release - Article about the LG Alive 2 upcoming release, and how its a cheaper model than the original Alive 1 and people have been hesitate to buy the next generation due to the price point, it has a comparison chart between the 2 machines, but seems to be missing info (Such as Alive 2 being able to play Music CD's etc) (Page 6)

  • Kenji Iino - Small article regarding the Japanese developer, not much information, he does state that he wants to be moving towards a network sharing information but that will be in about 10 years time (Page 16)
  • Dr Alive - Feature where readers can write in, One reader writes in about Shockwave being stuck on Level 5, the other states he wants to buy a 3DO but its too expensive, the magazine writes back that its the best time, they just had a 45% discount at the esports competition, there was also a discount to celebrate 1,000 members of its 3DO Club, but he could play at one of the 3DO Plaza's and even rent software and hardware (Page 15)
