  • John Madden Football - Definitely the finest version of this popular American Football simulation, Madden on the 3DO is an enthusiasts dream. Super-real graphics backed up by the reliable EA sports teams top quality game mean that fans will be positively drooling over this conversion.
  • Shock Wave - The trouble with these photo-realistic action games, is that they never really seem to capture the atmosphere and tension of their animated counterparts.
  • Twisted - An interactive Game Show? I suppose it had to happen, but what a waste of time. A case of we've got the technology. but we haven't got any ideas. Twisted is little more than an expensive board game.
  • Super Wing Commander - The Wing Commander game has been around for a while now with versions on every computer or console. Now the 3DO has a turn and gives the best performance to date. The computer generated characters look a little sad compared to all the full motion video of other games.
  • Total Eclipse - Its another example of nice visuals, no gameplay. The ships move perfectly and the tilt mode is nice with mountains and buildings whizzing by. The repetitiveness of the levels soon had me diving for the off button though.
  • The Horde - In its own unique way, this is actually quite good. To start off with you have loads of video sequences that set the scene and then you have quite a fun game to play.
