Overview
Consolemania was the longest-running monthly magazine dedicated to console video games in the history of Italian publishing. A natural counterpart of The Games Machine , it was also published by Xenia Edizioni with the sole exception of the last issue, published by Future Media Italy . The history of Consolemania lasted without interruption for a period of 14 years, from October 1991 to October 2005.
The creator of Consolemania was Stefano Gallarini who was also its director from 2005 to 2007, currently a speaker on Radio Monte Carlo . Alex Rossetto took over from issue 2; from issue 101 he was replaced by Marco Auletta.
