ReadySoft Presents…Dragon's Lair on 3DO

Enter the full screen animated world of Dragon's Lair and you'll be in for the adventure of your life - only your calm nerves, agility and expertise with a sword will keep you out of harm's way. If you're skilful you might survive the treachery of the Evil Wizard's castle, but are you ready to risk it all and enter the Dragon's Lair to rescue the beautiful Princess Daphne?

ReadySoft Incorporated and Epicenter Interactive, Inc. bring the animated arcade classic Dragon's Lair to 3DO on CD-ROM with the full screen animation and CD quality audio of the original laser disc game. Dragon's Lair is the ultimate fantasy adventure where you become a valiant knight on a quest to rescue a fair princess from the clutches of an evil dragon. You control the actions of a daring adventurer fighting his way through the castle of a dark wizard who has enchanted it with treacherous monsters and obstacles. In the mysterious caverns below the castle, your odyssey continues against the awesome forces that oppose your efforts to reach the DRAGON'S LAIR.

When Dragon's Lair was launched in the arcades, it set the standard for graphics excellence that is still unsurpassed today. With the animation talents of Don Bluth studios responsible for its production, Dragon's Lair combines the quality of a feature length animated movie with the intrigue of fantasy game playing.

Now with the introduction of the technically advanced 3DO Interactive Multiplayer, Dragon's Lair comes to life like never before, leading the way in interactive animation. Taking advantage of 3DO's full color palette and CD quality audio, the images and sound are indistinguishable from the laser disc. The advanced RISC CPU in the 3DO allows Dragon's Lair to run at the full frame rate of the laser disc, allowing for non-stop action.

Lead on brave adventurer…your quest awaits!

Available October 1993 from ReadySoft Incorporated

ReadySoft Incorporated was formed in August 1987 and through strong software development skills and strategic alliances, ReadySoft has grown to become a leading publisher in the floppy- based computer entertainment field.

ReadySoft's initial products consisted of both productivity and entertainment software for the Commodore Amiga which, at the time, was an emerging computer format. ReadySoft's success came with the acquisition of the Dragon's Lair license, a laser disc based arcade game from the early 80's that revolutionized the industry. ReadySoft's name was launched into the entertainment software field with the Amiga release of Dragon's Lair in 1988 which turned into the best selling product of the year.

ReadySoft continued in 1989 with Space Ace, the arcade laser disc sequel to Dragon's Lair. Again, Space Ace was met with overwhelming success. In 1990 ReadySoft broadened the line by converting its products to Atari ST, IBM PC, Macintosh and Apple IIGS.

ReadySoft has since released Dragon's Lair: Escape From Singe's Castle, Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp, Dragon's Lair III: The Curse of Mordread and Space Ace II: Borf's Revenge. ReadySoft also released two original titles - Wrath of the Demon and Guy Spy - that have been very well received.

As the company has grown, a network of distribution partners throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, Middle East and other territories has been established. ReadySoft has also licensed its titles for publication in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Brazil and Israel. ReadySoft now provides North American distribution to may American and European publishers including Empire, UBI Soft and Stone & Associates.

Currently, ReadySoft has more products under development than ever before. The recently acquired the Dragon's Lair, Space Ace and Dragon's Lair II: Time Warp rights for CD-ROM will take ReadySoft to the forefront of CD-ROM development. The Dragon's Lair properties (created by Don Bluth, Animator behind the feature films "All Dogs Go To Heaven", "Land Before Time" and "An American Tale") are fully animated cartoons similar to Saturday morning cartoons with the quality of feature animated films. The CD-ROM technology enables vast amounts of data to be stored on a single CD with full motion, full screen video allowing the games to be translated
with little or no loss of quality.

ReadySoft Incorporated has recently become a licensee for two of the most innovative CD-based machines- 3DO and Sega CD - and looks forward to bringing successful development, sales and marketing expertise to these exciting new systems.
