News

New Products (Page 41) - Report from CES, showing the Goldstar machine, that it be released in May in Korea and the US, the VCD upgrade is undecided. Samsung showed off their machine (No picture), but unsure of when it will be released. AT&T had postponed their machine, and cancelled the modem to focus on the Genesis. Also brought up is the Flight Stick Pro and 3DO Blaster.
New Project (Page 41) - Half page article about how the M2 will be using the PowerPC to run (It will also be compatible with 3DO games by having its chip in the system)
New Product - Sanyo (Page 42) - Article about Sanyos release, not sure if they would have 20,000 or 2 millions units in production a month (Different results from different translating tools), they said they will be releasing 6 titles by the end of the year (Soccer Kid and Gridders), with another 16 "original" titles in 1995. There is the mention of its Video CD Adaptor, but no release date or price. The article also contains a quote from a Sanyo employee about the M2, of which he states its unknown still and they want to focus on the 3DO.
Photo CD Publishing Club (Page 42) - How Kodak, Panasonic, Sanyo and NEC Home Electronics are coming together to standardize Photo CDs by sharing information and promoting together.
