Research Overview

I spoke to Lewis Gordon who worked at Argonaut, he isnt 100% sure why the 3DO version didn't get released, but from what he remembers they didnt have alot of 3DO dev units and the low sales of Creature Shock most likely helped its demise. He also can't recall it being stated in terms of development.

My theory...The game changed publishers from Sony Imagesoft to Philips Media. This was most likely due to Sony canning all projects on other machines, with Philips picking funding and picking up the title it also would of been cancelled on the 3DO as Philips wouldn't want to release on a rival machine.

The only interesting thing is, even though it was confirmed in an interview in early 1994 in Edge Magazine, there was never any more reference to it.
