Evil Night Arcade - Incubus

Overview

Incubus is the unofficial name given by fans to the second-to-last boss fought in Chapter 5: The Horror. As the name pertains, the Incubus is a demonic-like entity with supernatural powers.

He first introduces himself to the police officers, inviting them to see how powerful he is while telling them not to interfere. After levitating from the lava and ascending to the cemetery, he summons a wave of ember ghosts for the police officers to deal with. Defeating his minions, the trio climb a wall that leads into the graveyard. There, they dispatch several wondering zombies and some ghosts before seeing a petrified Liv tied to a tombstone. The incubus then appears where it fights the agents.

Upon defeat, the Incubus transforms to his second and stronger form: Devil.

Trivia

• Incubus' first form is a shoutout to the Magician from Sega's The House of the Dead, while his second form resembles the Hangedman from The House of the Dead and House of the Dead: Scarlet Dawn.
• Incubus' voice noticeably pitched up during the part when he says "The time has come to resurrect ourselves". His high pitched voice sounds similar to Heavy Weapons Guy and Monoculus from Team Fortress 2.
