Overview

Male Zombies are the most common and basic type of zombie encountered in Evil Night.

Appearance

Alongside a handful of other undead enemies, Male Zombies come in several palette-swapped varieties. They all share the same animations and body composition.

Stage 1: Encountered in the Mansion wearing what appears to be an all-black costume with skeleton graphics on it, as well as a skull-themed mask. This model is frequently paired with the Female Zombie.

Stage 3: Seen in theUnderpass stage with clammy skin, dark hair, glowing white eyes and a wide-open mouth with missing teeth. He wears dark pants, a black belt, and a gray vest with a white undershirt. Depending on the number of players and which of the many paths are taken in the stage, this model may appear either frequently or rarely.

Stage 5: Appears in the Graveyard with a face very reminiscent to the prior model in stage 3, except with gray hair and a different mouth. It wears a dark designer suit that has tattered sleeves, and a striped undershirt with a black tie beneath, as well as dark-colored pants and a black belt. This model is fought very infrequently, as the stage only features a handful of normal zombies at the beginning before the final boss fight.

Gameplay

Regardless of appearance, all Male Zombies lumber toward the players at a steady pace. In rare circumstances, they might inherit the Female Zombie's walk animation. When they get close enough, Male Zombies will take two steps forward and perform a quick swipe attack. Sometimes, they might attack with both arms, and at close proximity might perform a standing bite attack.

They are among the weakest enemies in the game, but can frequently appear in large groups (especially if more than one player is active). In later appearances, their health noticeably increases slightly. Their heads, arms, chest, and overall upper torso area are the best places to aim for.
